Dash
DASH (DASHIELLE’S INCREDIBLE RESCUE)
(10/2004 – 11/2017)

Dash was a rescue from a Colorado shelter. He was a playful, EXTREMELY energetic Terrier/Border Collie mix. Dash did some great things in agility training, but unfortunately only ran in one trial before he moved out of state with his co-owner. His single trial netted him a perfect day, with 6/6 qualifying runs. Dash taught me a lot about patience in dog training and about the needs of high-drive dogs. He had the tenacity of a terrier and the energy of an over-the-top border collie. His nickname was Tigger (because he liked to bounce straight up in the air to shoulder height). He was a frustration nipper and tore more than one piece of clothing until I figured out what he needed during training sessions.
