Onyx is my 11th rescue dog. She is some mix of herding and sighthound breeds. We estimate that she was born in November 2017, and I got her from Herd of Wyoming in July 2019. Onyx has earned her Advanced Masters Trick Dog title and Canine Conditioning Level 3 title, has starred in quite a few canine conditioning teaching videos, and is a great demo dog for agility. However, she doesn’t love agility enough to compete.

She is fast and fun, a very cuddly dog, and other than a few “typical sighthound” attention issues, is a joy to train.

She is willing to please, easy to live with, is very smart, and sleeps in my bed every night (spoiled a bit).
